Can I use my CLEANSE Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm as a treatment mask?

What a wonderful idea and you most certainly can! The CLEANSE Balm is a magical multi-tasking formula, and its wonderful plant-based oils have intense moisturising and hydrating properties. If your skin is feeling dry and flaky from too much time in the air conditioning or simply the dry winter blues, apply the CLEANSE Balm all over your face and décolleté. Rather than rinsing it off immediately, leave it to sit and soak in for 5-10 minutes for an express treatment or even overnight for longer-lasting results. Wake up to more supple, glowing and plumper skin!

Are the fragrances in your products natural and safe?

SEEH Skincare does not use any synthetic fragrances in its products. Our signature scents are 100% naturally-derived and comply with the strict standards of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). The IFRA standards are updated regularly and based on extensive research and toxicological research.

Do SEEH Skincare products contain nasties?

The SEEH Skincare range is proudly free of nasties and skin irritants including parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, PEGs, mineral oils, sulphates, silicones, GMOs, and synthetic colours and fragrances.

Are SEEH Skincare products tested on animals?

SEEH Skincare has a super strict cruelty free policy. No products or source ingredients are tested on animals and we have the PETA certification to prove it! We do not test on any animals (except willing humans of course!) and we have adhered to cruelty free practices from first launch. Our manufacturing and testing processes are completely free from animal testing and we only source from suppliers who do not test on animals.

Are SEEH Skincare products vegan?

SEEH Skincare products are scientifically formulated with 100% natural ingredients designed to treat and protect an array of skin types and conditions. The entire range does not contain any animal by-products or animal derivatives and we have the PETA certification to prove it! Rest assured you will find no lanolin, beeswax, emu oil, honey or any other animal product in our formulations. We use only pure and powerful plant-based oils and extracts to promote healthy, glowing skin.

What are the expiry dates for SEEH Skincare products?

All SEEH Skincare products will last up to 24 months unopened from date of manufacture. On all packaging there is also an international open jar icon. This icon will show you the shelf life of the product once opened. For example, both the CLEANSE Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm and SMOOTH Exfoliating Facial Polish are suitable for use for up to 12 months once opened.

Is your packaging environmentally friendly?

At SEEH Skincare we are making a conscious effort to minimise and offset our impact on the environment wherever possible. We endeavour, where possible, to utilise only eco-friendly packaging and shipping materials. The CLEANSE Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm glass jars and shipping boxes are 100% recyclable. All packaging pellets are biodegradable. Please check with your local council for plastic recycling capabilities.

We are also proud supporters of TerraCycle® who provide a recycling solution and a second life to your used beauty products with their FREE Beauty Products Recycling Program. We encourage you to sign up with TerraCycle, download a free shipping label or find a drop-off location near you so you can support the sustainability movement as well.

Where are SEEH Skincare products made?

We're an Australian-owned and operated company. Our products are manufactured in Sydney and distributed from Adelaide.

Does SEEH Skincare do samples of their products?

As a general rule we do not offer samples of our products. From time to time we could have samples available so we encourage you to get in contact with us and we will do our best to help. If you have concerns with allergies or skin conditions please refer to that section of the FAQs.

We provide full disclosure of all our ingredients in each product so please refer to those in the product descriptions. If in doubt always perform a patch test on hidden skin first.

Does SEEH Skincare have preservatives in it?

The great thing about the SEEH Skincare CLEANSE Makeup Melting Cleansing Bam and SMOOTH Exfoliating Facial Polish duo is that neither of the formulas are water-based which means they inhibit the growth of mould, fungus and bacteria. This means there is no need to preserve the products, and we just include lots of antioxidants to prevent against rancidity (but mainly for their amazing skin benefits!)

This won’t be the case forever though so we don’t sing it from the rooftops too loudly. As our skincare range expands and we introduce water-based products we will be required to use preservatives to protect against mould, fungus and bacteria growth. Don’t worry through, we are committed to use only nasty-free natural preservatives. You won’t see any parabens in any of our products, ever!

Will SEEH Skincare products give me an allergic reaction?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will not have an allergic reaction as all our products are produced in an environment where cross-contamination is possible, albeit unlikely. Our products don’t contain gluten but we do use natural nut oils and butters in our products (although we are phasing this out). For instance, we include sweet almond oil and shea nut butter in our CLEANSE Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm for the intense moisturising and nourishing properties. If you have concerns about allergies please refer to the ingredient lists in the product descriptions, discuss with your doctor, and always perform a patch test on hidden skin first.

Are SEEH Skincare products safe to use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding?

The main ingredients both pregnant and breastfeeding ladies should avoid are Vitamin A and its derivatives (Retinol, retinoic acid etc), some strong hyperpigmentation ingredients, and a lot of the nasties we don’t use like parabens and phthalates! We have a whole blog on the topic here.

We provide full disclosure of all our ingredients in each product so please refer to those in the product descriptions. The Bergamot Essential Oil we use is bergaptene free and used at low levels, well within the strictest of standards upheld by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA).

Likewise where BHAs are included in our ingredients they are introduced at <2% w/w concentrations.

If you have any doubts or questions we always suggest talking to your doctor before introducing a new product onto your skin.

Skin Concerns

I have really dry skin - what SEEH Skincare products will work best for me?

All our products were designed for those suffering from really dry skin (although they are suitable for all skin types).
SEEH Skincare founder, Sophie Hansson has suffered from really dry and sensitive skin for years, and created this line to help others overcome this same problem. 

If you are ready for a complete skincare routine overhaul, we have created a skincare bundle just for you called the Hydration Bundle. It includes the CLEANSE Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm, REFRESH Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm, the NOURISH Superfood Facial Oil and our best seller RENEW Age Defying Moisturiser.

The CLEANSE is the perfect way to kick off your skincare routine with its skin softening, super nourishing, hydrating and moisturising formula all in one step! It won’t strip your skin of moisture leaving it tight and dry like other products.

If you have really dry skin, layer a few drops of the NOURISH Superfood Facial Oil under your RENEW Age Defying Moisturiser for a double layered moisture locking effect.

I have really sensitive skin - can I use SEEH Skincare?

We are very pleased to say that you absolutely can. In fact, our founder and sensitive skin bearer swears by them all!

We have also created a skincare bundle for those looking to overhaul their skincare routine called the HEALING Bundlewhich is fantastic for angry and sensitive skin. 

We suggest always performing a patch test on hidden skin first if you have concerns.

Can I use SEEH Skincare products if I am prone to breakouts and acne?

Most definitely! In fact, we encourage it. You should be cleansing your skin with a product that doesn’t strip hydration or alter the skin’s pH by wreaking havoc on the skin’s natural acid mantle.

Furthermore, if you are prone to congestion and breakouts we really suggest exfoliating 2-3 times per week. The CLEANSING POLISH DUO was made for you!

Similarly, although it may seem counter productive to put oil onto acne prone skin, the NOURISH Superfood Facial Oil is great for all skin types. 

The facial oil is packed full of light weight, fast absorbing and most importantly (for my acne prone sisters) non-comedogenic oils. This means they wont clog your pores, instead penetrating deep into the skin layers to nourish from within. 

We have also created a skincare bundle for those looking to overhaul their skincare routine called the BREAKOUT Bundle which is fantastic for those prone to breakout frequently.

I am concerned about the signs of aging - what SEEH Skincare products will work best for me?

Your skin will benefit from any of our products, but in particular the hydrating CLEANSE Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm, NOURISH Superfood Facial Oil and the RENEW Age Defying Moisturiser.

The CLEANSE is packed full of skin plumping natural oils and butters, and antioxidants and Vitamin C for the anti-ageing benefits. It is gentle and nourishing, and will leave your skin feeling hydrated and plumper.

The NOURISH facial oil is packed full of superfoods, with high concentrations of antioxidants and vitamins A, B, and C. The deeply nourishing and free-radical scavenging oil is a natural anti-aging oil perfect for those with mature skin.

The RENEW Age Defying Moisturiser combines three key anti-aging ingredients; natural ceramide complex, Sacha Inchi peptides and organic Australian kangaroo paw flower extract. In clinical studies, the Sacha Inchi peptides were shown to reduce skin sagging by 45% after 28 days and decrease skin roughness by more than 20% after 21 days. Likewise Kangaroo Paw, a flower native to Australian, rapidly decreases the appearance of fine lines, with a compounding effect with continued use.

Let’s not forget exfoliation, however. As the skin matures, collagen production declines. Gentle exfoliation 2-3 times per week will increase blood circulation in the deeper layers of the skin, which promotes skin cell regeneration and a younger healthy glow.

If I have oily skin - won't using oil cleansers and facial oils make me oilier?

A common misconception with oily skin is thinking your skin will become oilier if you apply topical oils and butters. In truth, often what is causing the oily build up is an underlying lack of hydration in your skin’s surface. Dehydration can lead to an over compensation and over production of the skin’s natural oils, or sebum. Getting your skin’s hydration levels right is the first step to amazing skin.

If you are cleansing with a product that is stripping away your natural hydration then chances are you are doing more harm than good to your skin’s natural cycle. Switching to a hydrating cleansing balm like the CLEANSE Balm, and applying a few drops of the NOURISH Facial oil daily can re-balance your skin's natural oil production over time.

I have eczema - can I still use SEEH Skincare?

Eczema triggers are different for everyone, so it’s hard for us to say that using SEEH Skincare products won’t cause you to flare up.

However we have had some great results with customers prone to eczema.

We suggest always performing a patch test on hidden skin first if you have concerns.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express through the website. You can also pay with PayPal and Afterpay.

My AfterPay payment was declined. What should I do?

The Afterpay payment option is managed by Afterpay directly, so we have no control over the acceptance or rejection of payments.

Here are a few reasons why a payment can be declined with Afterpay:

- Your first payment amount must be available at the time of purchase - even if you have nothing to pay today

- Your Afterpay account has overdue payments owing

- The Afterpay risk management department has declined your payment

Can I change or cancel my order once I've placed it?

If you wish to change anything in your order please send an email to enquiries@seehskincare.com with your order details and information about the request. Doing this as quickly as possible will give us a greater chance of fixing the order before it’s sent.

If, however, the order has already been shipped then we can’t help unfortunately. But have a look at the returns or refunds section of the FAQ for more help.

What if an item is out of stock?

You will be alerted that we're out of stock when you try to buy it, and if your sign up for email alerts we will let you know when it’s back on the shelf!

How can I check the status of my order?

If you sign into your account to make a purchase then the order status and shipping number will be tracked within your account profile. Simply login and select View my order history.

We will also send you an email letting you know when your order has shipped and is on its way.

Can I buy SEEH Skincare products as a gift and have them shipped as one?

Most definitely - SEEH Skincare products make the perfect gift! Just make sure you enter the correct shipping details for who you are sending the gift to during the checkout process.

When can I expect my order?

It will depend on which postage and handling option you selected at check out.

Once your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation email from us which will include your AusPost tracking number.

You can track the progress of your order at the AusPost website by entering your tracking number. If you are unable to locate your consignment number, or if you have any questions about your shipped order please Contact Us and our Customer Service team will assist you with your enquiry.

Will you ship to me internationally?

We offer shipping to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK and Ireland at this point in time.
